Clinic instruction will be provided by the award-winning WGI Finalist staff and select members of Allegiance along with exciting special guest clinicians from World Class color guards!

What to Expect

Beginner Clinics (ages 9-17)

If you are new to color guard, our Beginner clinics are for YOU! As a participant, you’ll learn how to manipulate flags and other color guard equipment by exploring different types of spins and tosses. Once you have some of the basic moves, you’ll learn a fun routine to pre-recorded music! Color Guard equipment will be provided!

Intermediate/Advanced Clinics (ages 14 & Up)

If you have previous color guard experience, our Intermediate/Advanced clinics are for YOU! As a participant, you’ll enjoy learning new skills and choreography from our award winning WGI Finalist staff along with guest clinicians from World Class color guards. New choreography will be introduced at each clinic! When registering, you’ll be able to select the class you want to participate in for each session. Please bring your own equipment.

Session 1:

Session 3:

  • Intermediate Sabre
  • Advanced Sabre
  • Flag Tricks & Tosses

Session 4:

  • Intermediate Rifle
  • Advanced Rifle
  • Flag Choreography

What to Bring

  • Practice Flag (provided for beginner clinics only)
  • Rifle (if using)
  • Sabre (if using)
  • Healthy Snacks & Refillable water bottle/thermos
  • Sack Lunch (if attending Intermediate/Advanced Clinics)
  • Sunglasses and Sunblock Lotion (For beginner outdoor clinics)
  • Face Mask (as per CDC Guidelines)
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Knee Pads (recommended for Intermediate/Advanced clinics)

What to Wear

  • Typical color guard rehearsal attire or sportswear (t-shirts, shorts, sweats are acceptable). Please NO restrictive clothing such as jeans or denim wear.
  • Athletic shoes/Tennis shoes. Please NO sandals or open-toe shoes.

Arrival

Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the clinic start time for attendance and opening announcements. Clinic instruction will begin promptly at 9am.

COVID Policy

Allegiance will adhere to CDC, state and local guidelines for safe practices at all clinics. As guidelines may change throughout the summer months, please bring a face mask with you to each clinic.

Shelter Area & Restrooms

Beginner clinics held outdoor will have a sheltered area or pavilion nearby for breaks and storing personal belongings. Restrooms will also be accessible. Please note Allegiance Color Guard is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Please leave valuable items at home.

Rain Dates (Beginner Clinics)

For beginner outdoor clinics, we have scheduled rain dates in the event of inclement weather. Should this occur, you will be contacted via e-mail no later than 7am CDT on the day of the clinic to advise if we are rescheduling to the rain date. If the rain date is also affected by weather, then that particular clinic will be canceled and a full refund will be issued through PayPal.

Refund Policy

There are NO refunds for Spin Clinics unless the scheduled date(s) and/or corresponding rain date(s) are BOTH cancelled due to inclement weather.
